Yet another reason that marriage is so good for men

According to a study from Rutgers University that tracked 2,000 heterosexual couples over 30 years (published in the Journal of Ageing and Health), men who live with a woman who out-earns them are more likely to suffer from heart disease, strokes and type 2 diabetes than guys who out-earn their spouses.

And this apparently held true across all socio-economic categories, that is, it was as true for ordinary working class blokes as it was for dashing Don Draper types.

When I saw this news, I became really nervous about my health prospects at first because my hard-working wife has long brought home more than I do.

But I quickly calmed down when I remembered how much I enjoy spending those dividends she allows me to share.
