A bit of a vaping shock

You know, of course, that the vaping industry is fervently pushing back against efforts to limit the sales of e-cigs with the hard-to-argue-about claim that vaping may not be great but at least hey, it helps people quit smoking real cigarettes, which is something we all want to do more of, right?

Well, that argument may not hold much water, it seems.

So according to a recently-released report from the US Surgeon General, “There is presently inadequate evidence to conclude that e-cigarettes, in general, increase smoking cessation.”

Can’t put it plainer than that, I guess.
