Regular physical activity has been linked in many studies to lower risks of cognitive decline.
And even when cognitive decline does set in, regular physical activity has been shown to slow the rate of decline.
And today, a study from the University of Pittsburgh has shown nicely that the more socially active an aging person is, the more likely they are to keep the brain healthy by maintaining more grey matter.
So stay active, stay social, but also (very important): Stay safe, too.
