Heads up if you’re spending lots of time in the head

A study from the University of Alberta (can never remember if that’s in Calgary, Edmonton, Canmore, Red Deer, of Banff) that reviewed data from several other studies concluded that 18 per cent of coronavirus patients presented with gastrointestinal symptoms and that 1/6 of all patients “may only present” with gastrointestinal symptoms, meaning that these days, if yo have diarrhea that’s persistent (even if you don’t have much else to go on), you might still have a COVID-19 infection.

You are most likely, of course, to just have run-of-the-mill diarrhea, but it’s still worth looking into for the presence of coronavirus infection.

As if your bowels needed something else to worry about.
