Pretty depressing news from Wuhan

According to a just-released study from Wuhan, China published in The Lancet, 3 out of 4 COVID-19 patients of the 1700 in this study were still suffering at least one lingering health problem six months later.

The most prevalent symptoms that these people were complaining of included fatigue or muscle weakness (63 %), sleep difficulties (26 %), and anxiety or depression (20 %).

So here’s the big question: With this virus so prevalent among us, and given that over 50 % of people may become infected from someone who doesn’t have any symptoms, how come some of you still think that it’s worth risking going to a party with several (or more) people or not wearing a mask in public?
