The only 4 things politicians (and health authorities) have to do to immunize a population

1: Order enough vaccine (and to do make sure you get enough, offer the manufacturer either some sort of special inducement or pay a premium in the short term)

2: Make sure you get the vaccine you’ve ordered on the schedule you’ve agreed to with the manufacturer

3: Deliver the vaccine to the people who can inject it

4: Make sure it’s easy to enroll to get a vaccine

It’s very very easy to order a lot of anything (and to promise its benefits when it actually arrives)

Much much harder to deliver it: That’s the time at which the excuses start to kick in
