According to a report in The Mail Online, Britain is fast-tracking a £158million factory that within 4-5 months will “allow the UK to be self-sufficient in vaccine production and not have to rely on overseas supplies”.

In other words, when another pandemic of any type hits – not if, but when – the UK won’t have to go scrounging for vaccines from foreign manufacturers, who, we Canadians have learned, can cut back the supply they promised you whenever they deem it necessary.
