This is not going to end well

According to multiple reports, Alberta premier Jason Kenney is ready to very soon (within a week) lift some of the health restrictions – including allowing restaurants and gyms to open – that have been placed on Albertans to help slow the spread of SARS-CoV-2.

This despite the significantly more infectious, perhaps even more deadly, viral strains that have gained a foothold in Canada, and which are undoubtedly spreading although we don’t know to what extent given our very low testing rates.

So you really don’t need to have much of a crystal ball to know how this is undoubtedly going to play out.

And there are, of course, no travel restrictions to prevent Albertans from bringing in whatever they bring with them to British Columbia.

Just sayin’
