How we compare

As of today, February 8, more than 90% of over-75s in the UK have had a first coronavirus vaccination.

And the UK expects to have their entire elderly population vaccinated by February 15.


If we’re lucky and if we can actually roll out vaccine the way we surely must do (I would not bet the farm of this), we won’t get to a similar state till at least end of June, and, I would suggest, likely beyond that date.

I can’t believe that we should actually be envying anything in the UK but in this instance, yes, we should.
