A small Israeli study (26 people) has concluded that medical marijuana might be a good way to control blood pressure.
And they only tested this approach in older people, which was defined, as YIKES! post-70, which in Israel, is apparently the demographic group that is using medical marijuana more quickly than any other group.
Well, we started it, didn’t we?
Anyway, the researchers conclusion was that amongst this group of older adults with hypertension, cannabis treatment for 3 months produced a reduction in both 24-hour systolic and 24-hour diastolic blood pressure, with a maximum effect 3 hours after cannabis administration.
Worth a try, I think, especially if it can help you cut back on some hypertension medications.
