Guess who else should only get one shot of the coronavirus vaccine?

According to two recent studies, people who have had COVID-19 need only one dose of vaccine for full immunization coverage.

Which, in an era of paltry supply of vaccine doses, argues pretty strongly for testing way more people to see if they had been infected, especially if we were to target younger people (as those, for example, in high-risk groups such as those who work in LTC facilities) who are much more likely to have been infected asymptomatically than older people.

Won’t happen, of course, because, well, I am not sure why, but we simply do not seem to believe in the value of wide scale testing.
