Nearly every expert – including most lately the US CDC, which has been very slow to accept this reality of viral transmission, namely that it is nearly always passed on through air-spread – that you are very unlikely to get infected by touching a contaminated surface.

It’s not impossible – nothing is, which is why the Canucks could conceivably make the play-offs – but it’s highly unlikely, as is the case for the Nucks, alas.

Sure wash your hands a lot, but you don’t have to decontaminate your mail. Or that box of juice. Or your cell phone.
