Yes, there is something good to say about the Delta variant

And that is that it’s sort of like my dad’s temper: The Delta variant blows up suddenly, and then seems to settle rather quickly after the blow-up, and of course, “rather quickly” is matter of opinion (but 2 months is sort of what I mean by “rather quickly”).

So, in India, which for the longest time was the epicenter of the Delta virus pandemic, cases of new COVID-19 have dropped dramatically, even though India has not done a very good job of immunizing its population.

So what that may mean – may mean – in BC, is that because we’ve done a good job of containing the virus during this last wave, we may escape – may escape – the potential very severe consequences of this variant.
