Because your brain likes physical activity.

According to new research on 167 elderly people which was just published in JNeurosci, “physical activity improves brain health, particularly in Alzheimer’s disease.”

Physical activity had a pronounced effect on a marker for brain inflammation, and even better for those of us who love to walk, the greater the brain pathology, the better the effect from physical activity, or as the researchers say, “physical activity had a more pronounced effect on inflammation in people with more severe AD pathology.”
