Society
Dr. Nuala Kenny, Professor Emeritus, Dalhousie University
Dr. Kenny explores medical decision making through the lens of intergenerational justice: How do we achieve fairness for the elderly when making health policy decisions? What does this look like and how are we currently using our resources?
This discussion considers interrelated decision-making issues influenced by family demands for high technology interventions, and how changes in chronic illness management and approaches to palliative care can influence health care for seniors.
